45mph gets a bit tedious so we dug the GoPro out.  After continuous footage of ‘road’ a couple of deer lurched in front of us.  The mother jumped straight  back into the trees leaving a little one running along in front of us and kicking backwards like we were predators chasing it.  Caught absolutely none of it because the battery ran out.  Here’s an overtake instead:

We did much more than this but Google stopped logging us; possibly because my phone (it’s a Nexus 6, you know) was coupled to the GoPro. We ended up miles off the parkway and really hot and bothered by the time we found a campsite that wasn’t terrifying.
